Smoot Carter and I headed East and hit the AR285 for small kings on the fly rods, set course for the D Wreck only to change the heading after seeing 2 dive boats and another approaching at flank speed and made the Atlas (first boat there) and smacked some small jacks and Smoot's best ever "stinky" (barracuda) on the fly with a 50 incher that looked as big as a log that had fallen off a pulpwood truck!

Headed home we ran into some nice spanish under the birds mixed in with those little bullet macks and even had one nice bust of either albies or jacks, just couldn't get on em before they bolted to parts unknown.

Lotta miles, lotta fun, and a fine day that had us back in time for a late lunch in the AC ----- gotta love a room temp of 72 degrees!Wink

Good Fishing!!!
